Philippians 4:8 (ESV) — 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is
honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.

There are things
that fit within this definition that can enjoy our attention. Certainly knowing
God is at the top of the list. But some music, books, shows, pieces of art, and
landscapes also would fit these categories that Paul urges us to think about.
PRAYER: Father, help
me to retrain my thinking to focus on the things that are truly good and renew
my mind to be more like Jesus.
