1 Thessalonians 3:8 (ESV) — For now we live, if you are standing fast in the
Lord.
NOTE: Paul cared
deeply for the people he had led to the Lord and those he had discipled in the
Lord. He loved them greatly. For him, real living was knowing that his
spiritual children and adopted spiritual children were standing firm in their
faith. That is my desire as well for those that I minister to. There is a sense of pride (in a
good sense) when they involve themselves in ministry or when they share
something that God is doing or changing in their life.
PRAYER: Father,
thank you for the IDGs and the opportunity to be a part of the lives of three
more men. I pray for them that you would challenge them, you would change them,
you would reveal yourself to them. I pray these next 8-9 months can establish a
new habit and course of life for them. Thank you for your goodness.
