Hosea 14:9 (ESV) —
9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
whoever is discerning, let him know them;
for the ways of the Lord are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them.
NOTE: Real wisdom
and discernment are found in God's word. There is a way, which seems right, but
its end is destruction -- that way is the way of the world. My nation stumbles
greatly right now. It sows destruction upon itself because it has rejected the
ways of the Lord. It has convinced itself that God's ways are foolish and
science has disproved God and his word. But, that is not true. Science has not
disproved God or his ways or his word in the slightest. Nor has it proved it
either because some of the things of God are beyond our understanding. But much
is not, and those things are true and plainly visible. But Satan has deceived
us by using corrupted men to carry forth lies. Men and women who even believe
the very things that they know are lies (yes, that does sound confusing, but it
is true).
PRAYER: Have mercy
on us O Lord for our foolishness. Open our eyes to truth. Give us hearts that
hunger after you.
